According to a Newsweek poll 37% of Texas residents would vote in favor of a ballot measure to make crypto legal, while 42% said they would support crypto-friendly legislation similar to that in Wyoming.

The Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) went after Bitcoin lender BlockFi with a cease-and-desist order and now the TSSB has issued a cease-and-desist order against Celsius for allegedly selling unregistered securities to Texans.
US Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) is expected to file a bill to foster responsible innovation in crypto and respect states’ rights to innovate in crypto. Be prepared to flood Texas Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz offices’ with calls asking them to co-sponsor the bill once it is filed.

ICYMI: Boatman Capital claims that Argo Blockchain overpaid by up to 100x for its land/mining operation in west, Texas “raising serious governance questions about why this deal was done and who benefited.”
Per ERCOT west Texas is facing “Generic Transmission Constraint” aka west Texas cannot export as much power as it can currently generate, which is causing the price disparities. Bitcoin fixes this.
